Street SmArt

Well, the huge billboards of São Paulo may still be blank, free of any imagery due to last year’s “clean city” legislation. But the streets themselves are a different story. Check it out: for at least a year, a few enterprising young artists who post under the Fotolog name 6emeia have been beautifying the city’s storm sewer openings with their cute and clever cartoon paintings. And a local exhibition of their work has been extended through September. Congratulations to them!
