So the long crazy winter seems to be winding down in the Northern Hemisphere. (Ten years ago today an April Fools blizzard blanketed the entire Northeast U.S.. So, sorry if I just jinxed us.) Spring has indeed sprung, and you’re shouting it out loud. In the past seven days, tender buds, hardy shoots, luscious leaves, and brilliant petals have blossomed forth exponentially in the pages of Fotolog, heralding the new season. There are also bunches of late-summer beauties from the Southern contingent, of course. Here we gather four dozen floral photos in a long garden path for you to stroll. You’ll have to go outside to stop and smell the real things. Hmm… that’s a good idea. Ta ta for now.

hola,la verdad es que las flores son maravillosas, me gustaban mucho.pero hace un tiempo que las flores son para mi signo de pena,mucha pena,ya que mi padre fallecio el año pasado de forma inesperada,el 20 sept 2006,pero igual trato de olvidar el episodio de las flores.te felicito son preciosas.

I have noticed that this blog always promotes pictures by the same users. I don’t know if the owner realises it, but it is always the same members, those with a certain status on fotolog, a small private group of ‘artists’ who have each other on their F/F’s or who have benefited fotolog (either finantially or artistically) in some way. It is a shame that only a few individuals get to shoe their work here. Maybe there should be a contest or some kind of randow picture choice. After all, we are all members and we all contribute to the ‘health’ of this community.
